Changes in Fimpec’s management

As part of the Fimpec and Sweco integration, changes have been made in Fimpec’s management.

The Fimpec companies were transferred to Sweco’s ownership at the beginning of December 2025. The integration planning and implementation has started well, and the merger of the Fimpec companies with Sweco is currently estimated to take place in the summer of 2026.

As part of the integration, Thomas Hietto, CEO of Sweco Finland, has taken on the position of CEO of Fimpec Group as of 1 January 2026. He will act as the Managing Director of Fimpec Group Oy and Fimpec Engineering Oy until the merger of Fimpec with Sweco.

Jukka Nieminen, who has been the CEO of Fimpec Group since 2022, will leave the company on 10 January 2026.

“Under Jukka’s leadership, Fimpec has grown into a significant expert in consulting, design as well as project and construction management, specialising in the implementation of demanding investment projects, especially in energy and industrial projects. Jukka’s sales mindset and customer-oriented approach has been an important factor in enabling Fimpec’s growth and internationalization. I thank Jukka for his valuable contribution and wish him all the best in the future,” says Thomas Hietto.
