Fimpec strengthens its role in renewable energy projects – cooperation with UB Renewable Energy expands

Fimpec and United Bankers’ Special Investment Fund UB Renewable Energy are further strengthening their cooperation in the Tervakangas wind power project located in Puolanka, Finland.

Under the new agreement, Fimpec will provide Owner’s Engineer and project management services during the project’s pre-construction phase, bringing strong technical expertise and comprehensive project management capabilities to the project.

The wind farm is planned to include several wind turbines as well as energy storage solutions, supporting renewable energy production and the development of the energy system. Fimpec is responsible for ensuring the smooth progress of the project from the planning phase through to implementation.

“The Tervakangas project has been developed by UB Renewable Energy from the very beginning, and its high-quality and successful execution will be significant to the fund. For this reason, Fimpec was selected as our partner. They have already supported the fund in other projects and bring extensive experience in Owner’s Engineer and project management services for wind power developments,” says Tapio Nuotio, Portfolio Manager at UB Renewable Energy.

Controlled preparation towards the construction phase

Fimpec’s responsibilities include coordination, supervision, reporting and administration during the project’s preparation phase, as well as budgeting and scheduling. In addition, Fimpec is responsible for procurement activities, contract negotiations and overall project management during the preparation phase, ensuring that the project progresses in a planned, cost-efficient and high-quality manner.
