Mikko Turunen appointed CEO of Sweco PM

Mikko Turunen has been appointed CEO of Sweco PM Oy and a member of Sweco Finland’s Management Team as of 1 January 2026.

Mikko Turunen is currently the CEO of Fimpec PMO Oy and will continue in this position until Fimpec PMO is merged with Sweco PMO. The Fimpec companies were transferred to Sweco’s ownership at the beginning of December, and the merger with Sweco is currently estimated to take place in summer 2026.

“In project and construction management, our core task is to act as an impartial guardian of our clients’ interests and help them complete projects in accordance with the target, schedule and budget. This independent role will continue also after the merger with Sweco. Together, we can offer our clients first-class project expertise and comprehensive services for the implementation of even the most demanding projects,” says Mikko Turunen.

Sweco PM Oy’s current CEO Perttu Valtonen will continue in his position until the end of the year and will then move outside the company.
