Fimpec is a consulting, engineering, and project management company specializing in Clean Transition investment projects across energy and process industry sectors and in built environment projects.
Guiding our clients throughout the whole investment lifecycle – from investment planning and engineering to project management and site operations – we recognize the importance of integrating environmental sustainability into all aspects of our business and operations.

- Environmental stewardship: We are dedicated to minimizing the environmental impacts of our own operations as well as the environmental impacts of our clients’ projects, striving for sustainable solutions in all our endeavors.

Communication with interested parties
We recognize the importance of transparent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, employees, partners, and local communities. We will:
- Engage: Maintain open dialogues to understand the environmental concerns and expectations of our stakeholders.
- Inform: Provide regular updates on our environmental initiatives and performance.
- Collaborate: Work together with interested parties to develop and implement effective environmental solutions and oblige our suppliers and partners to comply with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
Direct and indirect environmental impacts
We acknowledge that our operations have both direct and indirect environmental impacts:
- Direct: Environmental impacts caused by us when we perform our work (deliver our services).
- Indirect: Environmental impacts of our clients’ investments we help them to plan, design and build. These impacts cover both upstream impacts (plan, design, build) and downstream impacts (operate).
We understand that the indirect environmental impacts – both positive and negative – are often of significant scale, including for example reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, use or recycling of natural resources, impacts to biodiversity, habitats, ecosystems, air and water quality, risk of pollution, and so on. We are committed to assessing and addressing these factors to ensure the resilience and sustainability of our operations.
Coordination with other policies and processes
Our Environmental Policy is aligned with and complements our other organizational policies and processes, including:
- Quality Management: Ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into our operations and are taken into consideration when delivering our services.
- Occupational health and safety: Recognizing that a healthy and safe environment contributes to the overall well-being and safety of our employees, as well as clients, partners, and communities.
This integrated approach ensures that sustainability is embedded across all facets of our organization.
External environmental conditions
We are aware of the potential effects of external environmental conditions on our operations, such as climate change, natural disasters, and resource availability. To mitigate these risks, we will:
- Assess: Regularly evaluate the potential impacts of external environmental conditions on our own operations and on our clients’ business.
- Adapt: Develop strategies to adapt our own operations as well as our engineering designs and project management and site operation practices to changing environmental conditions.
- Mitigate: Implement measures to reduce our environmental footprint and contribute positively to environmental sustainability.
Implementation and review
We will provide the necessary training and resources to ensure its effective implementation. The policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure its relevance and effectiveness, with updates made as necessary to reflect changes in our operations, stakeholder expectations, regulation, or environmental conditions.

This policy is effective as of September 17, 2024, and supersedes any previous environmental policies.
