Petri Luoma to join Fimpec as Lead Engineer in energy operations

Fimpec strengthened its energy expertise in November 2021 when Petri Luoma was appointed Lead Engineer. Luoma’s tasks include developing project activities in the company’s energy industry operations. In his work, he will act in expert tasks in various energy industry projects.

Luoma graduated as a mechanical engineer from Helsinki Polytechnic in 2004 and has around 15 years of diverse experience with engineering and project management tasks in various organizations in the energy industry. He has been involved in process engineering for major power plant projects and has taken lead responsibility for implementation. Luoma joins Fimpec from AFRY.

A strong expert joins Fimpec’s energy team

Luoma’s special area of expertise in the energy sector is within water and steam circuits. He says his biggest motivation to transfer to Fimpec was the opportunity to improve his own skills.

“I bring expertise that supplements Fimpec’s current range of energy industry competence. On the other hand, Fimpec has plenty of expertise I’ve previously only dreamed of, so it’s very motivating to be able to develop my own skills together with Fimpec’s professionals,” Luoma explains.

Luoma also says that he was impressed by Fimpec’s growth targets in the energy industry.

“It’s currently an interesting time to join Fimpec. The company’s growth targets are ambitious, and I believe Fimpec is known for its diverse development in the energy industry. I’m looking forward to starting work on the energy industry targets,” he adds.
